Week 34 and the Lumpkin Visit

I look like I swallowed a basketball...I'm definitely feeling very large and awkward. I'm getting really antsy for him to be here - not so much for the actual getting him into the world part though. I'm not too nervous for labor and birth - a little apprehensive since I'm 99% sure I'm not getting an epidural. Now that we have everything we need I'm so ready to have a baby to go with it :)

Here are some pictures of what's been going on this week.

Sunflowers! Michael bought these for my birthday - I would say that are my favorite. Sunflowers and Daisies for sure!

Love the curly-qs in the middle of these! The detail is amazing!

okay I guess you are all caught up on how pretty sunflowers are

Michael's parents came for a visit and they brought a truckload of stuff down for Jackson. He isn't here yet but he is already one spoiled baby!

Michael and Jackson will be matching a lot of the time. Plaid is the way to go :)

Reagan got lot's of toys too - her favorite is the duck. It's so funny to watch her carry it around... she looks like a wanna be hunting dog.

We went to the zoo with an awesome Groupon!! Love the elephants. It is so fun to watch them use their trunks to eat. one of the eventually put a ton of hay on his head... no idea why though. It was too funny!

The Lumpkins :)

Michael & my basketball belly

The otters were playing follow the leader - they kept going back and forth in a line! I could watch otters for hours... I want one as a pet.

Week 33 & the Aquarium

Here I am at 33 weeks. Finding something to wear is becoming increasing harder and more frustrating. I just stand in my closet and look hopeless at the clothes hanging there hoping that something new will pop right out of my pinterest board into my hands. So far this has not happened - my to my dismay. Thankfully I'm not going to work everyday - I would be a complete wreck if I needed a cute outfit every day.

Here are some pictures of what we have been up to here lately.

Reagan has taken to resting her head on the window sill and watching the world go by. It's so nice to have to windows open - not so nice to have the scare you right out of your seat barking when she sees something... or nothing for that matter.

Begging... but it's oh so cute begging. :) She army crawls in front of Michael to see if she can impress him enough to get something to eat. This never works since we never ever never feed her from our plates. I'm thinking she learned this wonderful behavior from Boone and Daisy. Thanks guys!

Here are some pictures from the GA Aquarium. It's a wonderful place - if you haven't gone... go!

Garrett got a new lens for his camera - he took some amazing pictures.

This if the 1st time I have seen this - the whales were making bubble rings and playing with them. It was amazing!

Doesn't he look happy :)

Here he is blowing a bubble

They loved playing with this toy - it was pretty cute!

These sea horses are so beautiful - God is so creative!

These crazy otters were sitting in ice baths! Brrrr! One of them kept spinning around in it. So cute!

32 Weeks

32 Weeks
Wow, I feel huge and swollen! Luckily no swollen ankles, feet, or fingers quite yet though. Last week he was the size of a pineapple and this week he is some kind of squash... I think a pineapple is bigger than a squash but oh well! We start going to the doctor every 2 weeks now. Last week they were a little worried about my blood pressure - it was higher than usual. I know exactly why that is though - as I was talking back from the bathroom I saw a lady getting her blood taken. UGH! Which due do my fear of needles almost made me pass out right there but I pulled myself together and made if back to the waiting room.  A couple minutes later they were taking my blood pressure - which under the circumstances was high! So I think it was that since after the appointment Michael I went to Walmart and did the blood pressure thing and it was normal and has been every since. Everything is good with Jackson - he is rolling and kicking like crazy every day. :)

Here are some pictures of some of our new friends. We have a cardinal that loves the cherry tree out back and 5 hummingbirds that are constantly and I mean constantly zooming around the feeder.

This little guy was our 1st one to the feeder - he sits on my blueberry bushes and guards the feeder from the other hummingbirds. I think this may be the one I saved yesterday. I was sitting in the front room when I heard the buzzing of wings and then a smack! I looked down and there was a little hummingbird on the ground. I was ready to cry over his tiny body but he was alive! :) I ran to the kitchen, grabbed a towel, and scooped him up. I think this may have been a once in a lifetime experience to hold a hummingbird. As soon as I ran him out the door I opened up my hands and he zoomed away.

Here they are - 4 feeding at the same time. Crazy little things!

This guy likes to hang from the gutter and guard the feeder from above. They are so funny to watch!
