Our Little Lump

Surprise! We are having a baby! My heart is exploding with joy. :)

After 3 weeks of being late I was still nervous or something to take the test. Michael asked me to take it - so I went home after lunch at church and took the pregnancy test. It instantly had the double lines - it was positive! Ahhhhh Could this really be real? Just to make sure it was I promptly took another test, and another one! lol Apparently it's real! Unfortunately it was two o'clock and Michael doesn't get home until 5:30.... what do I do?! I can't call Michael and tell him over the phone, I can't call my mom, I just got home and I didn't want to drive back to the church - so wait I did. It was killing me! Finally Michael got home and I was able to share with him the news! We stood in the kitchen so excited, in a little bit of shock, and saying "Well what do we do now?". Of course the answer to that question was call mom!  So we proceeded to call our family and share the good news!!

I had one good week without sickness after I found out and and then it hit. Morning sickness. Awful, awful, awful, sickness. Morning sickness leads you to believe it's in the morning - ah, no it's all day and night. Never-ending mixture of seasickness, the stomach flu, and starvation. The upside to this is... there is a baby growing in there!

Finally, the doctors appointment!! We get to see our little blueberry! I love, love, love the doctors we decided on! They had us back getting our ultrasound within minutes of getting there - now that is amazing!

Here is our little one!

Wow, to see the baby and hear that little heartbeat going like a train was amazing! It's crazy to think there is a little heart beating in there!

Those doctors and their mean nettles - they had to take blood. I do not like them. After taking 5 - yes 5- viles of blood I thought I was okay...I was talking just trying to not pass out. Then I started getting hotter, and hotter, and hotter - breaking out into a sweat - morning sickness raging... the nurse came in... and that is the last thing I remember. Yup, I passed out. Note to self: eat more than a baby before going to the doctor!

So you are all caught up! Our little one is growing, growing, and growing! YEY!!!
